"Claim to the land"? When in the history of history has that ever been a thing not dictated by defending and working the land? The owner is the owner because he builds the structure and manages the direction of labor so that the labor can actually build something of use. He then defends that structure from being destroyed by people like you, people who want what they can't create or maintain. Want more structure that suits you? Cultivate and direct more labor in pursuit of it and defend the fruits of that labor. You advocate for racism and communism. The creations of people like you are on display as the great failures of mankind.

@KeanuReeveals @tanomuzeA You live above the means of those who have equal claim to the land as you and still crave the sympathy of others saying “we don’t wanna stomp on necks for our livelihood, but that’s just how it’s gotta be”. Who built your living room and why can’t you give credit where it’s due?

@SunSpotSundae @tanomuzeA You're mixing up two very different groups of people. Or, you're the other group doing what you do (I think you listed most of them). Also, I'm not telling you to leave the planet. I'm just wondering why you're standing in my living room telling me I owe you a sandwich.

@KeanuReeveals @tanomuzeA There isn’t a civilization that could stand without the ones they’ve stolen. They are the prime colonizer, genocider, brainwasher, and saboteur yet they keep posing as victim. How can you envision a world without entire groups of people, and yet claim virtue in the same breath?

I kind of agree, but I think you're mischaracterizing and over-reaching a bit to make a compelling post. Latin words in English are much more powerful than their Germanic counterparts because they can be broken up into their Latin roots and abstracted away from their physical or literal applications. Mis-re-present - a person can do this (intentionally or unintentionally, so it's not a lie in the strict sense), but a data point can also misrepresent a trend ... weird to call data points liars, no? The actual Latin word for lie is mendacio (think "mendacious") ... but we don't use it much because we already have the German version. What you're pointing at is when people intentionally use the abstract when they actually mean the physical. Then they can later claim they were not lying. Intentionally misleading without being factually incorrect is actually called pattering and is even wise than lying though ... My point is that an equally large issue (actually the issue that enables this paltering) is the lack of fluency or broad education in the populace. We let ourselves get dumb and now us dummies are getting angry that we're being treated like we are dumb.

I am going to tell you a deep secret of the English language. When we want to tell the truth, we use Germanic-derived words. When we want to lie, we use Latin-derived words. - Germanic (Old English) words → concrete, direct, sensory, testable - Latinate/French words → abstract, bureaucratic, distancing, often euphemistic Death / harm Germanic (plain, testable):kill, die, hurt Latinate (distancing, euphemistic):terminate, expire, neutralize, collateral damage 👉 “We killed civilians” vs “There was collateral damage” Lying / deception Germanic:lie, cheat, hide Latinate:misrepresent, obfuscate, prevaricate 👉 “He lied” vs “He misrepresented the facts” Money / exploitation Germanic:take, steal, pay Latinate:appropriate, extract, leverage, monetize 👉 “They’re taking your money” vs “They’re extracting value” War / violence Germanic:fight, bomb, burn Latinate:engagement, kinetic action, force projection 👉 “We bombed them” vs “We conducted kinetic operations” Bureaucracy / responsibility Germanic:you broke it, you did it Latinate:mistakes were made, systemic failure occurred 👉 Notice how the subject disappears. Money / exploitation Germanic:take, steal, pay Latinate:appropriate, extract, leverage, monetize 👉 “They’re taking your money” vs “They’re extracting value” War / violence Germanic:fight, bomb, burn Latinate:engagement, kinetic action, force projection 👉 “We bombed them” vs “We conducted kinetic operations” Bureaucracy / responsibility Germanic:you broke it, you did it Latinate:mistakes were made, systemic failure occurred 👉 Notice how the subject disappears. If you see a public statement filled with Latin-sounding words, you are being fooled, tricked, manipulated, or lied to.

It's an interesting fact of human history that we have these two similar sized islands, Japan and the UK that are close to a mainland, and have had outsized influence and power throughout history compared to their size. Having an island of a certain size or above separated from the mainland really seems like a powerful starting position. Both held their own historically against the significantly larger continental rival (France, China). Madagascar and the southern African mainland present a similar geographical arrangement, but it hasn't had the same historical importance.

The USA is a 3rd World Country now. We all need to accept our new label & realize that ppl do not want to live here & we are no longer "cool" or "inspirational" like we were once viewed.. I look around & don't recognize this place, the people, the morals, or stances anymore. It absolutely makes me sick to see ppl that I once considered intelligent spewing the shit that they do. Then, after 10 years, they wake up & say exactly what you were saying 10 years ago like they just evolved through some new information. No.. It's the same info since day 1 & you were supporting the villain for ALL the wrong reasons. They divide, steal, deport, kill, ridicule, bully, hide documents, start wars, alienate allies, & empower racists & con artists that hurt Americans & anyone that calls out their evil ways. We are a 3rd World country because of how you voted. Time for you to get comfortable & watch your jobs, safety, investments, stability, & lifestyle burn around you... 🔥

Being in this space is so infuriating. In multiple tweets and engagements, I've given you fucking morons the keys to the kingdom. All the strategic plays that make this work and why, and nobody has said a fucking thing. Nobody has engaged me or retweeted. It's just a sea of glazed over morons seeking engagement, asking the same "why it no work no more?!?" questions with zero ability to understand the answers that are staring you in the face. At this point the community deserves to burn. Maybe something good will come from the ashes but I doubt it more and more with every month that passes.

I was speaking with a Cardano OG that said something that made me think "no one does anything anymore without funding and most stuff that got funded was useless" And that made think. How are other chains doing without any treasury? Are you going to stay around once treasury is over? And finally are you building to get funds from treasury or to innovate?

I fell down one of the wildest rabbit holes of my life over the weekend and I've wanted to tweet about it so badly. I still can't really. bc I have shit to do. priorities and all that, ya know. but...it stemmed from listening to a 3 hour podcast with a like an astrophysicist, and a couple other scientists. they were all very credible, it was very dry nerd talk. very much scientists and not speakers or entertainers. like it was one of those YouTube videos where the producers relied way too heavily on the power of the subject matter/information and ended up with a dry, monotone conversation that nobody could ever stick with for 3 hours. lol. anyway the rabbit hole executive summary is essentially this: “we believe that data has mass. this can be illustrated through math, tho we still lack instruments sensitive enough to truly measure it. we then believe that the hidden state of matter, the original substance of all things, is pure, raw, unprocessed data. and we are approaching critical mass .” example: if you take a hard drive and weight it empty. then fill it with a shit ton of data. max it out. then weigh it again. it will be heavier. (theoretically). on that premise - what if Information is *the* hidden additional state of matter? what if it's *the* original state of matter from which all others derive? what if, then, the thing we call dark matter is just undistilled information. Unprocessed data. The stuff that transforms into everything we know and perceive. *this is what fucked me UP and completely sent me for hours: one of the scientists started talking about some other scientist who had made the claim that everything we are experiencing right now (like all the weird glitches in reality people talk about. basically just all the weird shit we are all feeling even if not talking about it, you know?) Is due to the fact that we are approaching **critical mass through synthetic data generation from the ai boom** and if we continue building data centers and swelling reality with more and more dark matter (data), basically everything goes “boom”. and he presented the math and timeline with projected point at which we basically break reality and cause a system-wide crash. 🤯🫠 I know. a wild ass idea. and remember this was all just in conversation, nerds talking nerd shit. not formal claims or anything. but the amount of math that supported the theory was….enough to give me pause. ok that’s all I got for ya. just a little seed. go have fun with it. show your ai or something. ;) 🫶

But most of what people have been demanding was synthetic, as in it was a step in a long process towards a real service being provided. Nobody *wants* to hire a lawyer. Making lawyers cheaper doesn't make people hire more of them ... especially if they were only hiring lawyers to set up a new company to provide a service that is now free via AI. You are missing the point that it was mostly a long staircase to get to something that is now sitting here on ground level for everyone. We were all employed in the staircase and now nobody needs the staircase. What do people really demand? A nice home, nice food, some good entertainment, and friends. Even wanting "success" and all the things that they demanded in order to get it ... was just another part of the staircase. Bye bye staircase 👋

Enjoyment is complicated. We re-baseline, and there are different kinds of happiness. This is a huge failure of the English language vs the Greek. If a cell phone user is unhappy with his excessive screen time but is drawn to it nonetheless? You oversimplify the human experience. Doesn't mean you're wrong here .. need to look at the details ... but this is the wrong argument

This is inaccurate. Life didn't change for centuries. When the industrial revolution took place, people streamed into the cities looking for a better life. If the agrarian peasant life was better then they would have remained. And those people's lives were better than medieval serfs. What is true is that people can enjoy their lives in all sorts of conditions we find intolerable today. But it doesn't change the reality of the comparison to today.

... and how idiotic is it to think we even need catalyst to fund people to build profitable businesses on the chain? What a bizarre approach. All we had to do was ensure liquidity on the DExes that already existed and performed well to ensure that building a DEX or other tool is *profitable* In a free market, that would bring in external money to develop additional profitable tools, further increasing number of developers, liquidity, popularity ... all for free while increasing liquidity. The founders don't seem to understand capitalism 🤷‍♂️

There is not enough interoperability with the rest of the crypto ecosystem to support any real volume. I tried to participate, but it required holding very volatile CNT assets, or extreme slippage, or sticking to irrelevant volumes vs my total holdings. In other words, it was all either a waste of time or an instant loss for anyone with an actually significant volume of ADA. We have needed large-cap stables and other assets for years, but somehow our "voting system" kept voting to fund more teams who ended up rugging (yet another source of CNT volatility). Long ago, the founding entities should have directly funded these things and provided the liquidity. It's proof that, as a group, they're not good at anything but tech. I see CF as the real idiots here ... look how small their own bag is now (in USD terms) because they were unwilling or incapable to part with a small portion of it to fund these initiatives back when ADA was $2-3. Shortsighted and useless idiots, or they didn't ever actually want it to succeed. Hopefully Midnight Foundation does better. They need to market-make for a very long time and focus heavily on integration to invite any meaningful amount of self-sustaining volume on DEXes.

I’m not blaming anyone, but one key reason Cardano’s price keeps underperforming is that many $ADA holders aren’t participating in DeFi or actively using any dApps. There’s also a strong hate to memes and a preference for “utility-only” narratives. I made more than 2M $ADA trading volume and 2K transactions but got no airdrop from Midnight, only because I support $ADA ecosystem and hold CNTs. On the other hand, $SOL use dapps like pump.fun and GMGN to attract and onboard new users. Once they realize they can actually make money through trading, they start using the chain, and that activity directly feeds back into the chain’s value. That’s why I support $SNEK and @snekdotfun. Not only because the team members like @goofy_crisp and @CardanoRami has strong conviction and royality to Cardano, but also they’re identifying real problems and building solutions that bring users, liquidity, and external attention to Cardano.
