After a two year long investigation led by Kearny PD, 6 suspects were arrested and 280 charges filed in a multi-state fraud scheme targeting rideshare drivers. The case spans 40+ victims and $100K+ in losses. One suspect remains at large. 🧵

A regional string of catalytic converter thefts spanning four towns has been solved by the Kearny Police Department’s Detective Bureau. The investigation has led to criminal charges against Juan Hernandez, 32, of the Bronx, NY.

⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE ALERT ⚠️ Due to a water main break, Harrison Avenue is CLOSED between Bergen and Schuyler Avenues until further notice. The area is heavily congested—please avoid the area and use alternate routes. We will provide updates as soon as we have more information.

The Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force and the Kearny Fire Department are investigating a fatal fire on Hamilton Avenue. A second individual is in critical condition. More to follow.

Last video I did something pretty stupid. You might've already seen it, but maybe not so I'll address it here. There was a clip with the action cam of me test driving a car and going way to fast. Absolutely inexcusable and dangerous. I've since cut it out of the video with YouTube's editor tool. I also understand that this looks like covering it up, but I think it's the right thing to do. There's no reason to leave that clip in (there was no reason to include it in the first place) and I would never want to make it seem ok by leaving it in the video. I'm well aware of the Streisand effect, and I know everything on the internet lives forever, but I think that's the best decision right now. All I can do apologize and promise never to do anything close to that stupid again. That's a terrible example to set and I'm sorry for it.
