Going into the portal with scout team film is a risky proposition and often results in football retirement.

Volunteer Coaches requested at D1 jobs yet those same schools are giving a full ride and 20k plus a year to players. Stop the madness, this is embarrassing.

Stop tagging coaches that you received a camp invite. Actually stop posting them in general. I get them and I’m 55 years old.

It’s cost to run a hs football program Helmets $400-500 per Shoulder Pads $ 225-300 per Video Equipment practice/games 10-15K Drones, Cameras, IPads, EZ Camera Jerseys-10-15K per set Run Through Tunnel-10-15K Cloth, Compressions, Girdles, Knee Pads, Mouthpieces,Practice Jerseys/Pants Sleds/Practice Equipment/Bags/Jugs Footballs-$75-$100 per Decals-3K Laundry Loops Segment Timer Hudl package And other things…. Pre game meals, etc. Don’t mind me I’m just going through these PO’s today….. It takes everybody to have a successful program including parents.

@CoachOCTigers The one with the most NIL to offer at the D1 level. At the lower levels is finding the kid who plays his 1st or 2nd year determines who is the best and that is done through thorough research and work.

In 2026, what makes a good recruiter a good recruiter?

We should start a thread of D1 programs who cut walkons after spring ball and eliminate their chance to play in the fall.

How are volunteers coaching spots even allowable? Work 70 Hours a Week for free. Dumb Stop posting these jobs. Stop encouraging these jobs. Stop allowing these jobs. I thought we advanced past this stage of abuse during the 1880s?

You all need to stop sharing personal letters from coaches online. We get it they like you but there is no reason to post it.

Most of you go to camps because certain D1 schools will be in attendance but you should be looking at which D3 schools will be in attendance.
