@CoachReamon One thing my dad recommended to me was to check what email address the invite comes from. If it's a mass-email address rather than the coaches .edu email it tells you a lot, at least that's his hypothesis.

Good question Roberto. Follow + DM + “come to camp” + “we’ll keep tracking you” = to me that says early interest, not priority recruiting. They’ve identified you, but you’re still in the evaluation pool. My Translation would be: Come to camp, perform, and give them a reason to move you up the board.

If it’s sent to you by name but it’s the same message from multiple coaches at the same school… There’s some level of interest, but it’s broad not personal. Real interest looks like specifics about YOU, not just your name in a mass message. But when in doubt , you can always go and see for yourself..

My philosophy as a former D1 coach.. Film gets you on the board. It doesn’t close. Offers can be early, conditional, or based on projection. Coaches still need to see you move, compete, and handle pressure live. In-person confirms or changes everything.

Bad weather exposes bad technique. Control your feet. Bring the right gear. Secure the ball. Stay locked in mentally. Times may drop but effort and consistency shouldn’t. Coaches remember who shows up when it’s uncomfortable.

Q: Coach, I’m from Morocco. I love American football, play RB, and train on my own. We don’t have teams here. What steps can I take to play in the USA? A: First respect for the grind. Start by building real film even if it’s solo or small group work. I would focus on speed, explosiveness, and position-specific drills. Next, get exposure attend international camps or combines if possible. Academics matter too because school is your pathway in. Connect with coaches online, send film, and be consistent. It’s not easy, but it’s possible if you stay disciplined and keep improving every day.
