And now it comes out that the company making OxyContin owns another company that sells a medicine to help deal with the addiction???

I take Kratom for chronic pain. I’m now out of the pain management system and the thought of being arrested and in jail with no medical records stating I’m being treated for chronic pain scares the hell out of me. It would be nothing short of torture to the point of going insane.

I have often thought about what would happen to me if Kratom were illegal. I have a wonderful 6 figure job writing IT software for a major corporation. It would be impossible for me to write code through the fog of opiates. If Kratom became illegal, my 30 year career would end.

@LegitRKJ Appreciate your candid feedback. What I’m addicted to is being relatively pain free and clear headed enough to be a highly productive member of society. Something that would have never happened on opiates. I want to stay that way.
