So when a student exits a public school to use their ESA at a private school, their basic allotment or potential weighted funding will still be provided to their district?

Don’t believe the lies—Education Savings Accounts do NOT take a single dollar from public schools. They are funded entirely through state revenue separate from public education. Parents matter, and it’s time Texas gives them the right to choose what’s best for their kids.

The many mandates used to constrain/hinder public education are quickly dismissed from voucher bills because “no school would want to participate otherwise” or simply because common sense tells the legislators those mandates cause so many problems.
Why won’t legislators ease burdens on public ed at the same time in same way?
