Sometimes I walk out here for really no reason at all. The Texas Capitol is just beautiful and belongs to poor children in east El Paso County as much as it belongs to a hedge fund manager who lives in Highland Park. God bless us all.

The state buydown of Texans' property taxes - which offers so much relief that homeowners can't stop smiling about it - originally cost $3 billion in 2019. The same amount of "relief" now costs $51 billion heading into next January when there's no guarantee of a budget surplus.

BREAKING: 3 bags believed to contain meth were l found inside the van of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, the Mexican national killed in the ICE shooting in Houston, according to a federal search warrant affidavit. @FoxNews According to the search warrant, the three plastic bags contained a “white crystal-like substance in the middle of the dash between the driver and passenger side of the vehicle.”
