@RobbyP136 Unless it encourages someone to learn how to save a life (or two)? I took a CPR course because of my inadequacies in an emergency situation. More should do the same instead of smart arsed come backs?

MotoGP is the biggest global sport you may not know about. Hundreds of millions of fans. Elite athletes. A proven commercial model. And now… Liberty Media have joined the party. The same group that transformed Formula 1 into one of the most valuable and culturally relevant sports in the world are turning their attention to two wheels. So the question is obvious: What happens next? Carlos Ezpeleta is right at the centre of it. As one of the key figures shaping MotoGP’s future, his job is to grow the sport into a true global media property… without losing the identity that made it special in the first place. Because this isn’t F1: Different audience. Different culture. Different product. 🗣️ You have to grow, but you can’t lose what makes the sport authentic. In this episode we explore: 🏁 What Liberty Media’s arrival really means for @MotoGP 📺 Why storytelling, media and distribution will define the next phase of growth 🌍 Expanding globally without alienating diehard fans 💰 The commercial model behind MotoGP and how it differs from F1 🎟️ Building events that feel like experiences, not just races 📊 How you grow a sport that already has scale but wants more relevance ⚖️ Balancing innovation with tradition in a rapidly changing sports landscape Youtube 👉 youtu.be/RWq3Q_ab21E Spotify 👉 open.spotify.com/episode/2mFltI… Apple 👉 podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/car… All on Business of Sport 🔥

Remembering 'Murray' 🎙️ Not many people are immediately identifiable by their first name alone. But that's just how significant Murray Walker was to our sport. He left us five years ago, but he remains a titan of the motorsport airwaves 🏁

@ChronandEcho Yes, but they’ve found new ways to avoid paying for damage even if it’s clear that a dirty great hole in the road was the cause! Everyone should claim! Eventually, if they are pushed hard enough, they might start fixing the roads we pay for!

All praise to the legend that is Steve Blackburn, working on Bastianini's bikes last Sunday. Steve started working in #MotoGP in the early 1980s! 📸 Oxo

@jam79red @shipman_stuart Only scary if you are beyond your limit. I won the NW200 the year before as a rookie and performance expectations at the TT were too high. There was no time to do it right, so I didn’t return. Respect to those who do. Good luck in 2026.
