This one hurts. I was at UC when coach Mo recruited DeShawn out of Akron. Came from very little. I remember he put on like 45 (good) lbs in his first 3 months with good meals & workouts. We became friends and colleagues as ADs. Felt so proud of him every time we saw each other.

No level of football plays 16 straight weeks without a bye, @OHSAASports. Safety first? Academics? Open up week zero. 11 weeks to play 10. Helps the official shortage as well. The game week demands that football requires today is taxing, physically & mentally. Players & coaches.
