Bodycam footage shows Isaac repeatedly trying to pull her away, shield her from the police, and explicitly warning her that she was going to get herself arrested. ​Instead of listening to her friend, the suspect doubled down, screaming profanities and slurs at the responding officers while demanding they stay away from her vehicle. ​The situation officially crossed the line from a minor misdemeanor citation to a major criminal offense when the woman assaulted an officer. The moment physical contact was made, officers moved in to place her under arrest. ​She fiercely resisted being handcuffed, shouting that she had children to get home to and claiming she hadn't been drinking. However, the reality of her choices caught up quickly. Upon arriving at the Albuquerque Public Safety Center, her aggressive defiance completely melted away into panic and tears as she realized the gravity of the booking process. ​The suspect was booked into custody and faces multiple charges: ​Battery on a Peace Officer (Felony) ​Resisting, Evading, or Obstructing an Officer ​Disorderly Conduct ​This woman should have listened to her friends, but instead let the booze do the talking and it told a nice story about how to go to jail.
