Ireland haven't fucked up a golden opportunity like last night in at least 20 years. Usually the defeats are easier to take because better sides have beaten us. They were crap.

Say what you may about the manning penalty but for 45+ minutes we sat back and allowed a very poor team to come at us. Four minutes left and we couldn’t keep them out with shambolic defending from a set piece. Management to blame.

Haven't felt this sick about an Irish soccer team since after penalties against Spain in 2002. When we had to go to Nowlan Park to lose a replay to Offaly and no one cared.
