Because a lot of scenes make it look invisible Like when Katara faking earthbending with Aang’s air and the guards blaming Momo, or when Aang blasts Toph out of the ring and The Boulder can’t tell what happened But then other scenes make it look visible like Azula dodging Aang’s air attacks, or when Aang makes the air cannon and Katara and Sokka know exactly where to aim the coal
