I have a son with EDS and Autism and I'm definitely autistic (undiagnosed) with classical EDS. We definitely feel the correlation in our household!

@ehlersdanlosuk Sadly when I was at school and university there was no support as people didn't know or understand about EDS. Constantly masking my symptoms as was made to feel like a 'Demic'. There are still barriers and I would love to help and support breaking those down!

@ehlersdanlosuk from 20st to running marathons to bilateral foot surgeries. Multiple dislocations, bleeding disorders, hypermobility, joint pain, arthritis etc but nothing will hold me back. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I've raised over 60k for charities too.

When your in hospital and your husband thinks its funny to change, I like gym to gin 🤣🤣 I mean it is true 🤣. @StockportNHS However I just have to say the care I received throughout my second admission has been exceptional. Very thankful to the dedicated and caring staff.

EDS UK was at Portcullis House in Westminster this week for an important MP drop-in hosted by @JoshNewburyMP We were thrilled to have the chance to speak directly to MPs on behalf of our members to explain the extent of the issues faced by the EDS and HSD community in the UK.

This year I have discovered that I have the rarer type of #EhlersDanlosSyndrome. I have a change in my COL5 A2. Currently resting from 1 of 2 feet operations. Despite multiple joint issues, dislocations, bleeding etc; I'll keep pushing myself to be the best I can @ehlersdanlosuk
