Therapists, remember to send a thank you note for every referral you receive. A handwritten thank you card is one of my favorite business tools for private practice.

As someone who is new to this platform I’m feeling a little bit conflicted about whether or not to stay. My main platform is Instagram… Which has plenty of its own problems as well. Any therapists have thoughts? #therapisttwitter

I read @BecomingaThera's newsletter today about financial self-advocacy (subscribe, y'all!). Clearly, some therapists feel awkward about money talk, and there's a reason for that. Not being paid in practicum/internship conditions us to minimize the financial worth of our work.
