@brownecfm Anxiety is routinely the default diagnosis for women by a doctor--it's certainly not a new phenomenon. Women have been dismissed, disbelieved, and misdiagnosed by medical professionals for hundreds of years. It's why many women avoid going to the doctor.

@sophielouisecc @theJeremyVine I am 51. Single due to divorce. I work full time as a PA in a law firm. I have two children - about to lose benefits for 18 year old. I private rent which is extortionate. I receive UC and if I didn’t I would be homeless. What dont you agree about that!!!!!!!!!!

I have had such good feedback from my appearance on radio 2 @theJeremyVine. We have a 2 tier Britain between those on benefits and those who aren’t It can no longer be fair that working families have to tighten their belt, whilst those who don’t work get no end of benefits

Tough day today. My Mum's funeral. Lots of people I've not seen in a long time and the inevitable questions about why I am wearing a respirator. My, my wife and daughter wore them throughout the service & reception. People seem to demand us to justify our decision. 1/

@1goodtern When I had long covid back in 2020 I looked like I had died. I was a very funny shade of grey/blue!

I had a conversation yesterday with a woman who has just been off work sick. "It wasn't a cough or a cold or temperature or anything like that, I just had fatigue and could hardly get out of bed for a week, I'm not the only one, it's something going round the office". She looked like she had been bitten by a vampire, grey, pale, slack skinned. Left me a little concerned.

@MartinSLewis My daughter starts uni in October. She is looking to get maximum loans as my wage isn’t good and she can get it. How dan I tell her it’s not the best way? She had three jobs and makes a good wage monthly x

Think it's time to get off social media for the night. Big couple of days coming up with energy bills. I hope at least today raised attention of the student loan issue, particularly the coming repayment freeze (fiscal drag).

I just heard the horrible news that an old colleague has been told he has a month to live. It just absolutely floored me. Totally flattened. mrs tern thought I knew and just mentioned it in passing, and it hit me like a freight train.
