You are correct Jon that Mark Carney is lying again Carney worked in Dept of Finance as senior associate deputy minister, from November 15, 2004 to 2007. Carney said, he helped Paul Martin “balance the books and keep them balanced.” In fact, they were ALREADY balanced well BEFORE he started his job. But that’s Carney. Always lying and always taking the credit for things others have done.

Carney stated it was a privilege to "work with Paul Martin when he balanced the books " for the Federal budget of 1998 but Carney didn't join the Canada's Department of Finance until 2004, six years later. He was a student at Oxford in 1998.
