But I recently learned a close friend of mine had relied on food banks for a year and had to choose between their pension and having the money to buy food. Even then, it wasn’t enough.

AND, did you know that some NHS staff don’t actually pay into their pension because they can’t afford to?

We’ve gone from being heroes to being verbally and physically abused by patients in the ED waiting room because of things like wait times. We are trashed in national newspapers and politicians sell us out constantly.

@ForstySir I’m sorry to hear that, I really am. However, it does not change my support of @HistoryatHud. I think (and that thread was my opinion whether you agree/disagree) they are wonderful and I don’t want to see them go. Just like I’m sure you didn’t want to see your colleagues go.
