I think the reality of this is that agents will find a way to make the payment, and of course it will always optimize for the cheapest settlement (which is always stablecoins). That being said the argument of merchant settlement is clear but the other side of this optionality. In the same way that agents will choose, so will merchants. I think this will be an incredible use case, a merchant could opt to receive all payments in @tethergold, and that balance will be just as liquid on traditional card networks as well. It’s set once and remains composable.
