My wife had a months-long affair with someone from work. I found out by accident, not through honesty. Yesterday I decided not to forgive her. I asked for a divorce without negotiation. Her family says I should try, that “we all make mistakes.” What they don't say is that some mistakes are repeated for months with full awareness. I'm not going to rebuild something that was broken by long-standing decisions. Love also has dignity. Am I radical for leaving, or am I the only one who understands that not everything can be forgiven? I prefer the pain of starting over to the constant doubt of staying. Cc - @/AngelporrasXx

A two-megawatt turbine pays back its build energy and emissions in 6-12 months, then runs clean for the next 25+ years. The fossil fuel industry doesn’t own the sun and the air. That’s why they’ve spent billions electing puppets to attack and delay the renewable revolution.

Yes. UK will have to pay to be part of EU single market for some products. But reset deal with EU estimated to boost economy by £9 billion a year..several times more than any cost. Real win would be rejoining whole single market - at least £90 billion. politico.eu/article/uk-eu-…

@Dr_W_E_Bulmer Granted its not the best time to be a PM and I wish peace and prosperity for us all, regardless of who you support. However I find it difficult to forgive Starmer for 'Mark my words, not a penny more on Council Tax'.

The intense, irrational hatred of Starmer is fascinating. He is by no means the 'worst PM ever'. He merely has the misfortune to be PM when the legitimacy of the state is at a low ebb, society is more divided than ever, people angrier, and the far-right bolder and better funded.
Danny - #AVFC@danielhavfc

The hate for Starmer is so fake and forced btw. Tories did FAR worse in those 14 years and people acting like it didn't happen.

When people get in their 50s and 60s and up, do you start thinking about how many years you have left? I’m curious

25-year-old Noelia Castillo Ramos, who was brutally gang-r*ped in 2022 while living in a state-supervised center for vulnerable youth, is set to be euthanized in Spain today. The assault left her severely traumatized, and she later attempted to take her own life by jumping from a building. She survived the fall but was left paralyzed from the waist down. Since then, she has lived with constant physical pain and severe disability. Spain’s Constitutional Court granted her request for euthanasia, rejecting her father’s appeal.

This government has the right economic plan for Britain. Stability in the public finances, investment in infrastructure, and reform to our economy. We’re changing Britain and our economy for the better. gov.uk/government/new…

I’m continuously proud to serve under the calm, serious leadership of our Prime Minister. He is absolutely committed to service and duty with a steely eyed focus on turning our great country around, whilst the Westminster bubble seeks drama. We are focussed. 🇬🇧

I can't get why he's so disliked, I get he's pretty dull. But I can't think of a single person who would be doing a better job for Britain today with all the shit that's going on in the world. Starmer has been walking a tightrope since Trump defending our interests, all of them

I see Farage is off to Mar-a-Lago to talk down Britain and suck up to Trump. There's nothing patriotic about cheering on a foreign leader whose illegal war is sending British families’ energy bills through the roof.

Rail fares frozen for the first time in 30 years. Energy bills down £150. National Living Wage up £900. Half a million children lifted out of poverty. What do populists fear most? Progress.
