They might have lent more help had we not treated member nations so poorly (diplomatically) over the past year. We threatened the actual sovereignty of two member states directly. Instead of entering constructive dialogue or slowly reduced U.S. investment in NATO, we trashed them and pushed them into an accelerated investment cycle at the same time their own economies suffered from prior mismanagement and also the Russian menace. Where's bruce bueno de Mesquita? Don't you guys have any edge anymore?
