I think the days of US Representatives and Senators spending their time in DC should be over.
They should spend their time in their own states.
Meet via Zoom or Teams and vote that way, too.
With the exception of national security meetings, all meetings should be available for the public to view online.
The less time these people spend around each other, the better.

There is no clearer example of why people hate congress so much, than voting against banning SNAP funds from buying sugary poisonous drinks

The House just voted against banning soda from SNAP. Why should the government fund your soda purchases? If SNAP recipients want to buy sugary drinks, they can do it on their own dime, not on the backs of a taxpayer-funded nutrition program.
