From HostGator: A quick note: we do server hosting, not medical assistance. If you need to contact your doctor, please do that separately.  Dear HostGator I don’t need medical assistance, I just want to email my doctor. Jerry

What’s wrong with HostGator? I need to contact my doctor but HostGator just gives me the runaround. Anyone have similar problems?

What is often labeled as “weirdness” is not a flaw but a sign of psychological health, reflecting emotional depth and a different way of being. This perceived “weirdness” is often a result of higher emotional sensitivity and greater awareness of internal states.

Hey guys, i’ve been accepted into Adelphi’s PhD Clinical Psychology program. I’m thrilled! However, my impression of this program has largely been influenced by my love for psychoanalysis and my interactions inside the program. Anyone with outsider perspectives? 🤓

At risk of starting the obvious, there are many attention-seeking trolls on all social media platforms trying to yank your chain. They win if you respond.

Do not confuse the role-play culture of online bloggers and middle managers who learned to parrot highly focus group-tested psych jargon with what an individual can develop and achieve with real psychotherapy

An unpopular opinion perhaps but possibly the right one. Those who have experienced what is called ‘psychosis’ in medical terms, have access to the parallel world and are potentially psychics. I wouldn’t trust a psychic without proof that he/she had a mental breakdown.

@Plinz … but made up for it through her excellent performance in “Under the Skin”.

By acting as if she had a copyright case, the excellent actress Scarlett Johansson delayed the advent of game changing, conversational AI by half a year

I chat on this platform as if I know something about mental illness, psychiatry and medication. In reality I know nothing. I had psychoses. I don’t think it’s a mental illness and yet, medication that was found for me eventually really helps me to stay grounded and sane. Many others, however, continue to suffer because they are over medicated, not understood, can’t work, loose hope and the circle goes on and on. It is amazing that we can do on X to find one’s voice to speak and maybe change the narrative. Anyone can become mad. It’s a part of being human. There is nothing shameful in being mentally unwell.
