A terrific all-around high school athlete, Kanak posted a 10.37 in the 100 meters—the sixth-fastest time in Kansas state history—a clear indicator of his elite speed and five-star athletic upside. Over his Sooner career, Kanak did something few players manage: he played in every game (52). He made 23 career starts, splitting time between tight end (13 starts) and linebacker (10 starts), a testament to his adaptability, football IQ, and team-first mindset. Jalen Nailor is going to be a very rich man this offseason. He’s a late bloomer but he’s open damn near every play all season long. Has been one of the most consistent players on offense too. One of the rare few highlights on offense this season.
