Day 10/10 of posting about Echelon features Will take a different approach today and give my insight on the $ELON TGE by @EchelonMarket Been 4 days since $ELON launched Here are the things I liked about the launch execution: ▶️Good comms leading to TGE day ▶️Involving Thala eco in the airdrop distribution ▶️Good CEX lisitngs ▶️The fact that there was liquidity on DEX for it to be traded on Launch day Complaints The topic on this is: The "ICO" style airdrop 2 ways you can view this The argument AGAINST the model is that "It does not feel like airdrop" The argument FOR it is that "It creates better alignment for token holders with @EchelonMarket long term vision, instead of just claim and dump. Depending on the lens you are looking at it from, there is substance to both takes Apart from that, I also think the claim window could have been longer (currently 30 days from TGE) All in all though, will rate the whole TGE a solid 8.5/10. Overall a good Launch. Looking forward to what the future holds for @EchelonMarket

Day 8/10 of posting about Echelon features Today's feature is Echelon's Architecture (Global vs. Isolated Markets) @EchelonMarket Architecture 101: Global vs. Isolated Markets Most lending protocols put all assets into one shared basket. If one token fails, the whole protocol suffers. Echelon solves this by splitting liquidity into two distinct architectures: 🟢 Global Markets (The Hub) This is the high-efficiency zone for "Blue Chip" assets (USDC, APT, ETH). Here, liquidity is shared, allowing users to cross-collateralize assets freely for maximum flexibility. 🔵 Isolated Markets (The Silos) This is the containment zone for newer, more volatile assets. These pools are ring-fenced. 🔹The Mechanic: Assets supplied here cannot be used as collateral for the Global pool. 🔹The Benefit: If a risky asset crashes or suffers an exploit, the damage is trapped inside its specific silo. The Result: A firewall for risk. The Global pool remains untouched, allowing Echelon to safely list exotic assets without endangering the main protocol.

Just took the new @Merkle_Trade mobile app for a spin. The vision is huge: "Best of DeFi. One App" on @Aptos. I'm breaking down my first impressions: from the seamless wallet connection to my first perp trade on it(150x🤣), plus some real feedback on the Earn & Swap features and what I'd love to see next. (A thread 🧵) ▶️First up: Onboarding & Wallet Connection. The app gives you full flexibility: create a new wallet, import a seed phrase, or connect an existing wallet. For me, the HUGE plus is connecting directly with my @PetraWallet. The connection was seamless—first try. No importing private keys needed. This is a massive win for security & UX. 👏 ▶️main event: Trading: Alot of trading pairs to choose from. I counted about 50. Minimum amount is $2, and max leverage is 150X Hopped into a quick $BNB long to test the waters. The interface is clean and leveraging @Merkle_Trade perps (up to 150x 🤯) on mobile feels powerful. One suggestion: Would love to see the one-click trading feature support $APT as collateral, not just USDC. This would make it even more useful for @Aptos natives. The 'Earn' feature (powered by @aave) is simple, but the APR on USDC is quite low compared to other market options. After selecting $APT to be swapped to $USDC tokens, the "Continue" button stayed greyed out, so I couldn't complete the swap. But I LOVE that there's an in-app feedback button. I've already submitted my notes. This is how apps get great—by listening to users and iterating fast. ▶️Final thoughts: This is a massive step forward. A cohesive, simple app is the #1 way we onboard the next million users to DeFi on @Aptos. For future integrations, I'd love to see protocols like @ThalaLabs or @AriesMarkets added.
