@AvesRUS @DeadJosey Biggest downside ComicK sometimes gets some mangas or manwha updates quit slow meanwhile kenmei tracker gets bit bugged out and dont show other site who has more chapters ( I assume, i doubt its by design)

I can see why alot of fantranslators arent putting their translations on mangadex anymore this is stupid and bad.

As per tradition, let's take a look at 2026. First, I'm committing to a much higher release cadence - monthly updates are starting again in Q2. I wanted to fully enjoy my first year in Japan, but I recognise that came at the cost of shipping less than I should have, letting you all down. I'm going back to full throttle. Second, I plan to invest heavily in Premium to meaningfully increase its value. I've done quite a bit of research over the past year (thank you all for answering my yearly surveys), and there are quite a few things that should be improved, both with new features as well as existing ones. Finally, source coverage. The Comick shutdown showed that while we successfully migrated most series, the transition wasn't seamless. I want to build enough redundancy into our sources that if another major site goes down, all of you barely notice it happened. Happy New Year! 🎉🎉🎉 2025 was a challenging year - from beloved reading sites closing down, slower releases on our end, to Google significantly impacting Kenmei's distribution, not to mention the growing competition. This has probably been one of the toughest years since Kenmei started. But we've weathered the storm, and I still see a clear path forward to new heights in 2026 and beyond. First of all, here are the goals that I set last year: -------------------------------------------- - Double sign-ups and general activity on Kenmei - Release new social features - such as Reviews, Statistics and more - Polish existing features to address the most common feature and improvement requests - Finish adding all Official Sources Unfortunately, I fell short on most of these. With much of my time spent tackling unexpected challenges (such as Comick and others shutting down) and polishing existing features, I couldn't invest enough in new social features or complete all the official sources. But here are some of the highlights of what we did accomplish: - Data Moderator team: Built a permanent team of 3 people who've fixed data for thousands of series, bringing us closer to having some of the most accurate and detailed information in the tracking space. - Onboarding v2: A significant redesign that meaningfully improved the experience for new joiners - Importing: Finally brought this long-requested feature to life, which allows bringing your lists from other major trackers. - Chapters v3: Though not yet rolled out to everyone, this addressed the most-requested improvements when it came to tracking and has been requested for years.
