I am so excited to announce my commitment to further my athletic and academic career at the D1 level with Illinois State University! First and foremost, I want to thank the Lord. Everything I do, I owe to Him, and I am so grateful for the countless blessings He has provided me with. Next, I want to thank my Mom & Dad, Lisa & Keith, my brothers Owen and Blake and all of my family. The thousands of hours on the road, the countless nights in hotels, and the unlimited amount of support they have shown me. Through every game, good or bad, they have been by my side every step of the way. Next, I want to thank Coach Jay @Coach_Bolden , my pitching coach since I was 10, who is family at this point and has helped me to become the pitcher that I am today! Coach Tom who I’ve known since I was young. I love my time hitting at The Box and all of the pep-talks he has given me over the years. I also want to thank Coach Pat Starwalt @waltofstar who had me falling in love with the game way back in Pinto softball and through rec, travel & middle school. I also want to thank Coach Phil Taylor, Coach Jim Martineck, Coach Jay Petrick, and Coach Jim Abbott for my amazing experiences with the New Lenox Lightning organization and all their help with recruiting and getting me to where I am now. To my @SHS_IrishSball Coaches (Coach Holman, Coach Champene, & Coach Read) and my SHS family, I have grown so much and loved every second of my time at Seneca High School and I can’t wait to see what my final two years bring! Last but certainly not least, I want to thank Coach Tina @Coach_Kramos, Coach Brandon @BrandonDuncan5 , Coach Jhavon @CoachJay23 , and Coach Alexis @rudd_alexis for seeing a future Redbird in me and for giving me such an amazing opportunity.
