To win PSG, you don’t mark them 1v1 because they’ll make you lose shape Secondly don’t try to retain position because they’ll chase you down till you make mistakes, go long if you can, give them back the possession and retain your defensive shape This was how EM defeated them

Getafe have scored the second-fewest goals in La Liga this season with just 28, only Oviedo, who are practically relegated, have fewer. They also have the lowest xG in the league at 24.6, and no other team is even below 30. On top of that, they’ve created the fewest big chances (42), have the fewest touches in the opposition box (471, with no other team below 500), and the lowest average possession (39.3%, again the only team below 40%). And if that wasn’t enough, they also have the most fouls committed (493) and most yellow cards (90). Despite all of this, they’re still sitting in the top 6. I’ve genuinely never seen anything like this before.

This is why I never wanted him sacked. He truly understood the psychology of that dressing room and should have been given the keys to create a new and lasting culture at the club. Such a pity.

Exclusive: Understand some of Rosenior's feedback and advice on the current squad was to sign more 'men', he believed that apart from a select few players, not many would actually 'stand up and fight' when the tide got tough. The few senior players Chelsea do have were also understood to be 'too quiet'. A few squad members were also understood to have the behaviour of 'petulant children' when they were not picked or something did not go their way.
