@jimbobbennett Not only is the website better, but you get more options if you choose the Japanese version of their site. Most of the sites I deal with in Japan have a completely different set of resources in English, so I totally recommend using your browser’s translation.

Why does it feel like Universal Studios resort in Japan is literally trying to make it so confusing to buy tickets that you give up and just not go. It’s an absolute mess.

@schandelman Good point. (Now to argue 😃) But your experience does change depending on the layering.

Saw this at a gas station, and am pretty sure this only works if you use all flavors and order matters, which it doesn't. I get 255. 256 if you consider "not adding anything" a flavor.

Took @adalrifai’s advice on @heyriddleriddle and dipped my toes in the pool of Greek mythology. I no longer remember anything about who I am, but overall I think it was good advice.

@seesharp @ScottCate Oh, yeah, serious business when it’s operating. There are some safety lockouts missing that I never solved to be fully comfortable with it in a shared space, but as with most of those kind of tools, if you follow the best practices it’s super safe.

@jimbobbennett Loopback is totally useful for all kinds of stuff, and I highly recommend it. Not necessary if you wanted to run something like Krisp, though, so depending on how bad the audio is you might try something like that first.

Though thinking audio hijack and loopback from Rogue Amoeba might do the trick. Anyone used these? Thoughts?

@KennySpade @Ishikawa_Sachi Actually magic is fantastic for Malenia because of Frostbite, it shreds her and she doesn’t get the water bonus like with fire Also any and all night sorceries since she doesn’t dodge them and rock sling to take down her poise, makes phase 2 less nightmarish

I am definitely going to stream #EldenRing when I get to the final string of bosses, Malenia included! Ps. I am ridiculously overleveled yet hilariously bad at the game, so that could take either one hour or six.

@Ishikawa_Sachi @QuiteBloodyLazy I went magic and had to respec for Malenia. Every other boss in the game was no big deal, only took a couple tries, but Malenia made me respec to dual katanas.

As someone who has worked as a localization PM (subtitles, manga, video games, etc) since 2016, the discourse around what translators are and aren’t allowed to do by weebs of all people is so entertaining 😂 y’all horse deers, grass.

@jimbobbennett I really enjoyed Sunset Overdrive more when I turned on the profanity filter. It added beeps, which I found a lot funnier and appropriate for how ridiculous the rest of the game was.

Enjoying High on life as a first person shooter that reminds me of ratchet and clank but I wish they dropped the swearing and alien cum stuff. It would be great fun for a younger audience if they just cleaned up the unnecessary profanity.
