Veteran guard Robert Jones is signing with the 49ers, sources tell The Insiders. Jones played in 49 games (30 starts) for the Dolphins before signing with Dallas, where he missed last season because of a neck injury. He’s healthy now and headed to San Francisco.

I’d much rather get a pass rusher in round 1, who will make an immediate impact this season, rather than a WR, who has to for compete for touches in a crowded WR room.
I get the long term need, but I want a game changer right now. That 1st rounder has to be an impact player.
