@rcondiscord As an actual Boomer, born in '47, I can say that TV Dinners were a "treat" and one of my favorite lunches was fried Vienna sausages with Kraft Mac and cheese made by my dad. When I was in my prime house buying years, interest was over 15%. Finally bought at age 40.

Re: Gen Z and food. 1.) Stop calling everybody old enough to grow facial hair a Boomer. It is making you confused. 2.) Actual Boomers are in their 70's and 80's, and did not grow up eating fast food every day. 3.) Gen X grew up when peak T.V. dinner was replaced by the invention of the Dollar Menu, and while we did eat tons of fast food by the time we got to the work force, most of us saw the Arby's Five for Five as some sort of miracle, and never forgot about ramen and hot dogs. The Dollar Menu was killed by covid and minimum wage, and it does suck. You do have it worse than Gen X did living in the 1$ McDouble era. Nevertheless, the solutions proposed by Actual Boomers are the valid solutions to your situation.

@acaseofthegolf1 I was his walking scorer in 2011 NCAA National Championship. At Karsten Creek. He never made anything worse than 3 until the ninth hole. Played with Cantlay and Cauley. That's a BIG golf course, and those lads could play.

Peter Uihlein will (likely) play his first Major since 2018. He just shot -9 in Dallas at final Qualifying for US Open. Almost everyone still on the course, but he's 3 better than anyone else and 5 clear of the current number.

@MyGolfSpy @Evnroll Well, I have a Zebra that's 50 years old, doesn't even have the Ram logo on it. It gets into my bag several times a year. OTOH I have other choices. Also have a Bullseye that's 10 years older, but I rarely use it.

Still the most misdiagnosed equipment setup that I see — The baseball/hockey/other athlete turned emerging golfer. Plenty of club speed, but prescribed game improvement irons simply because: 1. They’re a beginner 2. They’re a high hcp 3. The irons were the cheapest

@engineeringolf The people who insist high handicappers NEED game improvement irons forget that those players can't hit an iron with less than ~30* of loft. And with more than 30* blades work almost the same. And they're MUCH easier to chip with.
