so instead of adding loadout presets or filtering for the player(which the game already has), they are gonna make you pay for this junk? who exactly is this targeted for? only people that make alts are namers that get harassed/shitters/cheaters and that's it.

@IT_Sundae You can spam out treasuries, but that’s pretty mind numbing. I like spam sending GH two dig missions only stoping for horn sells or ‘content’. You stack a assload of special ball crates from skelly captains which is nice.

So what's the meta way people are farming the blue-green glowy horns? I want my funny sails.

If they really are working on Sea Of Thieves 2, we need Arena 2.0 with 3 different gamemodes: 1) Duel - Just hourglass. It's cool being able to check the server in-between fights, but if they were instanced it would be a much smoother experience. No third-parties, no extra lag, no volcanoes, no world events. As soon as the match finishes, you insta dive. Everyone has the same supplies, no need to waste time gathering them. No cursed balls, no bonecallers, no cannon rowboats. Maybe add a time limit too. 2) Arena - Same as before but the ship type cycles out every week. Solidify it into one queue so people can get into games faster. Keep voice chat in the lobby and game. The mute and report buttons exist for a reason. Seeing people you know and talking to them in the lobby was the most fun part of arena. Removing chat killed it. 3) Deathmatch - TDM/FFA on random islands until 1 team (or person) gets x amount of kills. Maybe have spawn platforms to cannon to the islands. Maybe turn other parts of the map into TDM maps as well (reaper's lair, sea dogs, davy jones island, shores of gold, shrines, etc). Crew size cycles weekly as well. They also need to add an option to pick which regions you want to queue for. I would queue for all of NA and EU to get instant queues if it was an option. Have all 3 modes level Servants and Guardians with a bar showing which side is winning more. Maybe tie that into the lore during events. Arena was the best place for new players to learn every aspect of the game. It needs to come back.

@ElyaPog @michaelsithlord @Wermux You put far too much faith in CSM. These are exploits and it’s on rare to fix them. The “it’s cheating” cope is always rich. I’ve got a yellow not terribly long ago for ladder launching mistaking for cannon TP. I talked it out with the support manager and had them over turn it.

@Noobface This season has been my favorite in recent memory expressly because it’s busted lol. I got usable q/s again, New crud launch 4.0 just dropped, oh and wall banging has made its first appearance in 3 years. Fuck the seasonal features, Go with the flow my man.

@flotsamtv Idk I would say partially sure, the gold/XP events don’t drag me back like they used to, more so just changes my behavior when and if I am playing, Low player dips should still mainly be a reflection of seasonal content and whether it’s still enough the average players attention.

Can a game can run so many boosted XP weekends / login rewards that it actively discourages people from playing the game when those things aren't happening? We've had SO MANY this season & the Steam playercount is DIRE 🙃
