@DavidJMitch As you are so keen for us to name and shame we will in this case. And before you ask the IRB know all about her - they failed to tell us in advance and left us with the cost of repairs - and have declined to comment since. The IRB sent her - in hideous pain.

@DavidJMitch We are fundraising to pay almost £10,000 for a dog who arrived directly from the IRB - her hip was so badly mushed up inside (it was done years ago and left untreated) we have to order a special pale in from Germany vet said it is like someone has liquidised her internally.

@MontyTuxedo @LeShuttle The problem is many don't travel legally & it's not just rescues travelling. What would happen if there was an incident mid way. 2 drivers (sometimes only 1) would have to walk 20 dogs 15 miles to the UK or back to France.

@LeShuttle How does this protect pets? They all stay in their own vehicles? All on commercial vehicles are travelling legally and correctly vaccinated. This is a load of bs

@MontyTuxedo @LeShuttle We understand it to mean the rescue registered on the Intra Trade Cert (the paperwork they travel with). Rescues have to register in advance with DEFRA to get approval. Hopefully it means back to normal if you follows the rules.

@LeShuttle Thank you for clarifying EuroTunnel. We understand this to mean so long as the transport company follows the balai directive and we are the registered rescue on the intra trade certificate (with DEFRA) we can still transport.
