Delane is a great player but you only draft him if you’re gonna be a cheap bitch with Dax or DJ. This team needs to retain and add talent. If they let DJ or Dax walk then it’s time to move on from this franchise.

Mel Kiper Jr. thinks the #Bengals head back to the bayou in his latest post-free agency mock draft

@BengalsKorey I like the roster a lot right now but you are 100% correct in if they don’t win this year then it’s getting blown up. If Burrow gets hurt again with another top 10 pass blocking line, his inability to stay healthy will blow up even more!! Big year for Burrow and the Bengals

My personal take is that I’ve become numb to the bengals FO bs. Just win. Joe gotta stay healthy to do that and the Bengals FO has to be better in adding talent through trades and FA. They win and people will forget all about the BS but you keep losing and it’ll get crazy.

So it wasn’t $22 million ….
FOX Sports Knoxville@FOXSportsKnox

Tennessee Basketball has the second-highest operating budget among more than 200 programs, per @MattBrownEP 🍊 Vols Hoops spent $23.1 million during the 2025 fiscal year, roughly $700,000 more than the second-highest SEC team: Texas ($22.4 million). Indiana totaled the highest budget at $32 million, while Arizona ($22.6 million), Texas, and UConn ($21.5 million) rounded out the top-five. Among SEC spenders, Tennessee and Texas were ahead of Arkansas ($21.2 million), Kentucky ($20.7 million), and Auburn ($20.5 million). #ForTheFans

@WhoosierDey @BengalsTalk They extended Burrow, Chase & Tee over the last 2 years. Between free agency & draft they’ve put together a top ten pass blocking line. They’ve signed 3 major starting improvements to the defense. Couple that with the major improvement of Stewart and Knight late last year!! ^^^

I mean what do we necessarily have to be happy about? We haven’t made the playoffs in 3 years, our front office is a complete joke, we don’t draft well, we don’t trade for players who could help the team, we don’t get ahead of extensions. Not a whole lot to be happy about rn

The #Bengals will probably draft a CB at No. 10 and then an injured Caleb Banks in Round 2.

@Jimeverett @NBA I watch the Hornets, they are a pass heavy team where 6 of the players can lead the team in scoring any given day. Better than college!! NBA is currently in a really good spot with Wemby, Ant, Flag, SGA and Kon

@JoeGoodberry So aggressive!!! 😂 It’s a family owned NFL franchise in a small market. I’ll stand by my statement that they don’t generate the same revenue as big-market teams, which limits some of the things they’re able to do. Could they do more? Absolutely.
Could they do less? Absolutely!

@MissSlappyWhite @codiki Large market teams still generate more revenue allowing them to spend more money on staff, amenities and facilities making them more attractive and competitive. Nothing like baseball but it is an advantage when attracting and paying free agents. Having more money always helps

@KentJett @codiki Small market doesn’t really matter in the nfl. Even if they spent every penny up to the salary cap, they’re still guaranteed tens of millions in profit. At least.

Bryan Cook 3 years 40 million 2026 Cap hit 10.67 million Bradley Chubb 3 years 40 million 2026 Cap hit 6.5 million Jaelan Phillips 4 years 120 million 2026 Cap hit 9.99 million Boys Mafe 3 years 60 million 2026 cap hit 17 million They paid 10 million more in 2026 cap hit for 60 million less in contract values Notice the difference? They are shoving it all in year one killing the cap just to avoid paying year two guarantees and spend LESS CASH. ITS CHEAP

@KentJett @iam_johnw No fing way. Won’t be able to create his own shot as not quick enough. I fo think he is a very cerebral player. His drives where gets close to the rim and pumps fakes and leans in to draw the foul…. That won’t work in the NBA. Role player at best.

@whodeyu Which is a great position to be in as it just improves the depth. I highly doubt they sign another free agent until after the draft unless a great opportunity presents itself. I do think they will sign a couple more which will raise the depth & starting quality of the team

@whodeyu Right now from the 53 man roster, 6 left & 6 are still unsigned & they’ve signed 4 so far. So that leaves 8 spots counting free agency & draft either way one guaranteed for a back up QB. As is they would have to cut somebody off the current roster or cut one of the draft picks

Bengals should add some good depth to the defense overall, they have opportunity to add more cap space, I’d add: DJ Reader Matt Milano Bobby Okereke AJ Epenesa

@Pants287 Will be a good solid player but he’s not the type of player that’s as marketable as the other big time players. He’s the type of player that will be a great piece that helps win games and put up some big numbers but there’s noting stylish to his game, he just gets it done
