Surprised to have come across an old find that kind of works for #UkraineIndependenceDay. This Fragment of Frankish hinged bracelet fits a general form spread from Western #Europe to Hunnic grave in #Ukraine. finds.org.uk/database/artef… #RecordYourFinds #MetalDetecting

Flashback #FindsFriday This medieval iconographic finger ring dating to the 13th or 14th century depicts the Virgin and child along with Saint Peter & Paul. Iconographic rings were items of personal devotion connecting devotees' body to a preferred saint. finds.org.uk/database/artef…
