I am truly jealous of fans of FCS teams like Montana and Montana State who get to go to a stadium like this and enjoy the true essence of college football as it should be, without as much of the crazy mess of large scale NIL and transfer portal nonsense.

@PRSVRE_ Actually they started 0-5…four regular season game losses plus a preseason game loss to Laval in Quebec City (Rouge et Or 20- Mustangs 2).

THEY STARTED THE SEASON 0-4 🤯 Western had to run the table to get into the playoffs. They successfully won out, and the rest is history… Greg Marshall’s only .500 season as head coach at Western, and they still won the OUA 😭

Greg Marshall has a significant trophy case, but the Godfather of Western football will be remembered more by his influence — transforming young people into leaders — than his rings. Just ask all those U Sports coaches who played and/or coached under him. Thank you, coach!

Simply put he’s the 🐐. Nobody has ever had a bigger impact on @USPORTS_FB in Canada, than Greg Marshall. One of the best players ever. One of the best coaches ever, who built dynasties at two different programs. G Marsh is a one-of-one but his coaching tree and his legacy lives on.
