I don't use Twitter enough anymore to justify having two accounts. It was an interesting experiment started 10 years ago to see if having a professional only profile was a good strategy. Just feels duplicative now. Follow me @rkerestes if you'd like to stay in touch.

As a @McCourtSchool trained MPP working in science policy - I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to see Dr. Fauci's appointment. And how jealous I am of the current students who get to learn from him. What's the policy on alums auditing classes? ;-) #HoyaSaxa

The McCourt School is honored to welcome Dr. Anthony Fauci to the @georgetown community!👏 Joining as a Distinguished University Professor at @GUMedicine's Division of Infectious Diseases, he will also hold an additional appointment at the McCourt School. georgetown.edu/news/dr-anthon…

We live in a world of such deep misinformation that respected scientists - leaders in their fields - are stalked and harassed by those who have fallen prey to lies. And the science tells us myth-busting doesn’t work. We need to get to folks before the misinfo sets in.
Prof Peter Hotez MD PhD DSc(hon)@PeterHotez

Ugh I just was stalked in front of my home by a couple of antivaxers taunting me to debate RFKJr. Of course I was looking my Sunday best in our brutal heat wave. What is it with people? Well at least Houstonian’s now know I support the team…#GoTexans

One of the things marketers should know by heart is to cater to your hard support and ignore your hard opposition. Target must clearly know where their hard support lies. I haven’t seen their research but my brand strategist gut is that it’s not people who hate LGBTQ+ folks.
Charlotte Clymer 🇺🇦@cmclymer

If you're a corporate marketing officer concerned over what's happening with Target, let me make something abundantly clear: you will never appease anti-LGBTQ extremists. They don't want *some* concessions. They want all of them. But there's a colder truth at play here. (thread)

Is it just me or is Twitter particularly glitchy today? Can't tweet on some browsers, my tweets aren't showing except under replies.

.@KNBFL volunteers pulled an estimated 2500 lbs of trash out of the #StMarysRiver near the Dee Dee Bartel boat ramp Saturday morning. And that was just at one site working with St Mary’s Riverkeeper on the annual clean-up. #DoBeautifulThings #AmeliaIsland

Social science research has told us that myth-busting doesn't work. But how do we prevent conspiracy theories from taking hold? Interesting new paper that could shed some light on what we can do.
