@huihoppa Tautoko 10000%!! And while there’s been many promises - you can’t argue with the reality that Māori haven’t been prioritised, Māori expertise has been ignored and Māori deaths will occur.

@garethmorgannz No - the relevant point that when you know your family will likely be the first fatalities - you think of this ‘cost to society’ differently. If you’re prepared to consider this as an acceptable risk - it can look like one feels this won’t impact those closest to you.

@KeriMihi Keri that's like saying let's not drive on roads & prevent road deaths, let's wear masks 24*7 to prevent the flu etc. There are tradeoffs, the relevant point is how much cost is society will to take to save the last life?
