Mana = Identity, power, integrity
You have mana and so does the elder, and that’s why your stand is what it is and that’s why the settler got UNSETTLED!

A few years ago I worked in an org where I was on committees - mostly with settlers, but also with one Elder. We had a vote coming up - honestly I don’t remember now what it was about - and my boss at the time had a word with me before the meeting, trying to explain his vote.

As parliament protests come up in news again, we reflect on the state violence against the protestors. We regret not speaking up sooner on the way protests & wider discussions were handled. The lack of empathy hurt our communities & set a dangerous precedent for future struggles.
