There are hundreds, probably thousands, of Protestant churches built around a man [the pastor], his personality, and his ego. We may not realize this until we ‘church shop’ and discover the numerous personal interpretations and theological differences. This world is chaotic. The last place we want chaos and confusion is at church. When we find the Catholic Church, it truly feels like home.

🚨 EXCLUSIVE — Cenk Uygur & Shawn Ryan pushed a fave Neo-Nazi trope, used to paint Israel as a nation of p*dos. They both lied about the case of an Israeli official, lies that took 5 minutes to debunk. Yet Shawn Ryan highlighted this segment in the new preview of Cenk's upcoming interview. The claim is that Israeli official Tom Alexandrovich, arrested last summer for trying to lure an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old girl. Shawn claimed — to violent agreement from Cenk — that after the arrest, "we delivered him back to Israel." But that is just a lie. Similar to one Tucker Carlson was caught peddling just two months ago. There was no "delivering" him, and certainly not by the Trump Administration. Oh, and the criminal prosecution is moving forward, and he's appearing remotely (which is permitted), as required. All of this can be learned in a simple search at the relevant Clark County (Nevada) website. (See below.) Here's the background: Alexandrovich was released on standard, preset bail, pursuant to Nevada law, and it was a LOCAL judge and prosecutor who were responsible for his bail, reportedly knowing about his imminent, already-booked return flight to Israel. Their lies are even more outrageous given that both Cenk and Shawn have repeatedly suggested that Israel exerts undue influence (or even control) over the U.S. because of Jews and Christian Zionists blindly supporting (or being paid to support) Israel, rather than America. Yet the official who expressed the most outrage over Alexandrovich's release on bail was the Israeli-born U.S. Attorney for Nevada, Sigal Chattah @USAttyChattah. (See below.) Of course, Cenk and Shawn won't tell their audiences that it was bumbling and/or soft-on-crime local Democrats who gave the Israeli official bail and neglected to seize his passport. Nor will they admit that the U.S. official who expressed the most outrage about the release was born in the Jewish state (and yes, appears to be quite pro-Israel). And they certainly won't acknowledge that Alexandrovich has been present at his hearings in accordance with the law throughout the process. Because if they admit ANY of these inconvenient facts, then it becomes a lot harder to promote the ugly narrative that Israel is a nation rife with deviants who harbor those who commit awful crimes against American children. Of course, the truth takes 5 minutes to find, so they CHOSE to lie. Why would they choose to lie in service of a trope that foments anti-Semitism? The answer, sadly, seems pretty clear.

Their only principle on the left is that their side deserves power. They lost control of the court and suddenly we needed to expand the court. They lost the electoral college so we needed to get rid of it. They struggled to pass bills and then all flipped on the filibuster.
