I went to Edinburgh University to study Politics because I wanted to understand why it was that the harder my father (a joiner) worked, the poorer he (we) became. Unfortunately the course was more about the mechanics of the political system rather than the ideological (class) 1/3

After a fantastic 14 months as Project Lead for @CyclingWorlds and Clubs @ScottishCycling, excited this week to move into a permanent role as Head of Development (Clubs and Coaching). Also means that @jtsportsdev is now a permanent signing - keeping a great team together!

We’d have been 20 years married today. I lost the best person I ever knew the day he died. Truly a man who never once put himself first. The loss doesn’t diminish with time, but I’ve learnt, in faith, to see it in a better context.

@sweenyness I was no 8 in the standby queue on Sat😱 But all of us got on (10 or so vehicles in the end). In all my years back & forth I’ve got on so always worth the punt though on Sat, we were 2hrs early & still number 8 as people who got punted out of B&B’s went straight there 😵💫

@Minnie_Mo_ @wodieskodie Gals, it’s warm rain 😂 And actually, it’s a flipping beautiful feeling passing through an island & seeing it in far more detail than anyone in a car will ever see it, even in the pishing rain which honestly feels quite spiritual. Discomfort is good for us all at times 🥰🙌🏻

#SportHour A1. The Alford Network recently ran some Cycling coaching in partnership with Deeside Thistle Cycling Club & Alford Community Sports Hub. A few children were very wobbly on their bikes to begin with but by the end they had grown in confidence and improved in ability!
