@TanelPoder And I got "dragged into" COBOL by a customer same as you. Had to convert a commercial app I'd written from Pro-C to Pro-COBOL to run on a mainframe (MVS). IBM didn't have a C compiler at the time, so I had to borrow Oracle's to compile and run the Pro-C demo. 😂 Fun times!

@ludodba I switched over a decade ago now. It was scary, but I was following in the footsteps of some of smartest folks I know, and I’ve never regretted it. Not once. I can’t even imagine going back. Give yourself a couple of weeks and you’ll be completely hooked!
