Only in the @CountyofLambton.... While conducting school zone patrol in Camlachie, a #LambtonOPP officer encountered a very determined local resident, a wild turkey, who appeared to have something to say. The officer remained in the area to ensure students arriving at school stayed safe around the presence of the turkey and that it wasn’t the kids being chased. As the officer eventually cleared the area, the turkey was observed chasing the cruiser down the road, possibly in an attempt to continue the conversation…or request to speak with a supervisor. Thankfully, all students made it safely to school, and the turkey has since resumed its neighbourhood patrol duties. #SchoolZoneSafety ^jr

TRAFFIC ALERT: EB 401 is closed east of Woodstock for a collision investigation.

A heads up for East York drivers, Coxwell and Cosburn is closed. A water-main break has caused a sinkhole to swallow up a huge section of the intersection. Repairs will last into tomorrow.

UPDATE: Crash reported on the EB 401 just east of Cedar Creek Road. The MTO reports that collision has closed two right lanes and the right shoulder.
