She had packed a few things, her most expensive things and left the rest there. She also left a note on the dining table. It reads: "Hey, I tried, but you and I know I was never yours to keep. Have a good life" She was right. I had chased the wind, and I was only able to keep it for three months. She was gone. I cyberstalked her, trying to find the guy and see a glimpse of the life she had always wanted, which she knew I could never give her. I eventually saw it. She was on a yacht, and everything screamed luxury. Her family sent back the bride price, and she never contacted me again. That is, until last week. Three years after she left. She reached out to me and asked if I would like to have dinner with her when she got back to Nigeria. It was weird. I called her cousin, a guy who kept in touch with me after she left and really encouraged me in Christ. The cousin said her husband was swindled of a huge amount of money, in one of his investments in the USA and had been thrown in jail for fraud. She got divorced from him before the SEC commenced criminal investigations against him and was able to make it out with her own nest egg (gifts and funds that were given to her by her husband as a gift, jewellery, and so on) She is rich now, my cousin said, and recently divorced. I am thirty-six years old and in a serious relationship. Plans are underway for an October wedding. I don't know if to see her or not. This is my dilemma at the moment. I cannot pretend that I don't love her anymore, but i have suffered through the heartbreak, and I have healed. Seeing her might be opening old wounds; not seeing her may be opening the door to regrets in a way. What do I do?

@julius75801 The law WAS GIVEN, GRACE AND TRUTH CAME! The law was given by Moses, Grace always on the side of Truth came through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH and Life, so if Jesus is the TRUTH, then He is Grace. The gospel of Grace is the Goodnews of Christ Jesus.
