The Bible teaches one God operating in three offices within the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In Matthew 3:17 the Heavenly Father speaks from heaven His pleasure in His beloved Son Jesus Christ who filled that position of the Godhead while the Holy Spirit descended like a dove. Truly our Heavenly Father was well pleased in His Son Jesus Christ who filled that position of the God head and made the pathway complete whereby man can have a way back to the Father. Jesus said I and My Father are one.
