@HisWordForever @FrankLets78822 Nowhere in the Bible, does it teach that you can be unborn. Thats ridiculous, your opinion is wrong, sir.

English

@BushidoSouls @FrankLets78822 “born again” is misunderstood
Check if you are born again - are you like the wind?
John 3:8
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

How many people here are ready for the 'rapture'?
The bride of Christ must be taken up prior to the tribulation period to keep her free of spot or blemish. The bride of Christ must remain pure for the bridegroom. Hence, the Lord must come to take her up into the clouds.
If you consider the purpose behind her ascension, you start to grasp the motive for it!
English

@PilgrimRon79 As long as you remain in the Faith & not drift away
English

@HisWordForever We'll have to disagree, friend.
Blessedly, it doesn't depend on me.
For I know who I have believed in and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him until that day.
English

@MrEncouragement You should study all related verses
Conclusion?
1. Eternal security guaranteed if you continue in the Faith & endure till the end
2. Not remaining in Faith & become a foolish virgin or man with 1 talent in parable of talents, then you will not receive eternal life

Verse cherrypickers always want to build a doctrine on a single verse, even when it contradicts other verses (which they rightly ignore.)
Here are a list of verses (not exhaustive) that say we can't lose our salvation. Why would anyone reject the Biblical authority of these verses?
When we are told that we know we are saved because we do works, because we endure to the end, etc., etc., that's evidence of salvation, not a condition of salvation.
We either receive salvation by grace through faith, or we have to earn our salvation, to get it or keep it. Since scripture explicitly and repeatedly says that we are saved by grace, those verses that speak about people walking away from salvation must be about lack of evidence of salvation, not failing to continue earning their salvation.
John 10:28-29
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand."
John 6:37-40
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."
Romans 8:1
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
Romans 8:38-39
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Ephesians 1:13-14
"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."
Philippians 1:6
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
2 Timothy 1:12
"For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."
1 Peter 1:3-5
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."
Jude 1:24-25
"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen."
1 John 5:11-13
"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

English

@metathomist 2 Peter 3:16 (KJV)
As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

@PilgrimRon79 Yes if they’re not careful they can drift away, according to God Himself:
Hebrews 2:1
Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.

@HisWordForever Can someone who is saved lose their salvation?
English

@FrankLets78822 What does it mean to “believe on The Lord”?
Most don’t understand this at all - they think it’s “just believe”
Same as not understanding what “calling on the Name of The Lord” really means
In today’s world these are completely watered down
Hebrews 2:1 is a warning to DO
English

This is why these "works-based salvation" folks won't simply answer, "What must I do to be saved?" Instead of giving the apostles' answer, they add requirements God never did.
Can't twist this one though.
Acts 16:30–31
"'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' They said, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved...'"
CCG BRYSON@BrysonGray
This is why these “faith alone” folk don’t answer questions. When I press them into answering, they simply reject scripture then try to twist it. Cant twist this one though
