Idk about putting it in the rules, but if you make a variety of tokens you probably should have some kind of properly identifiable game piece. Sharpie up some basics idc But if I'm playing Eldrazi and my opponent can't remember the singular token my deck makes? Not my problem

Question: Should tokens be required for Comp REL? I’ve seen several instances lately of players losing track of the board state due to a Pokémon card or equivalent being used to represent a game object. Sure the other player agrees in the moment, but this is fairly necessary

I haven't played cEDH in several months, because I would invariably get in a pod that's 2/3 UBx decks that either tutor for Study or for Steal/Copy Enchantment to get a Study Really reminds me of people playing clones for opposing Docksides...but with more annoying triggers

Rhystic Study exhaustion is why I took a break from this format. Rhystic Study exhaustion is why I burnt out after coming back. There is no worse play pattern I’ve experienced in any competitive game. Defenders of Rhystic Study in the format have no clue what they’re talking about. The only reason it’s not banned is the Commander Format Panel doesn’t want to ban an expensive card.

This is just the "cEDH should be its own format with its own banlist" convo all over again, but with the Bracket system wrapped around it We've been here before, multiple times

Maybe a hot take: But if you can have sub formats created by the game changers list in brackets 2,3,4. You can create an inverse game changers list of cards banned exclusively in bracket 5 And the world would handle it absolutely fine.
