@aro_oyinda12627 Hahahaha a Christmas gift from Rockstar? Please mate they will be leaving us high and dry til May 2026
English

@rockstationonx It will probably happen man lol, I would not be surprised.

@ViceCityVibes26 Silent unfortunately, Rockstar does not care mate. They have so much money it doesn't matter when or where they start promoting GTA VI. I will say though the marketing around this game has been shit to say the least. I think they started way to early with 2023.

With Rockstar’s latest update being yet another delay, it’s becoming clear that they’ve barely acknowledged GTA VI or the hype around it in a positive way. Most of what we’ve heard has been delays, leaks, or the info drop after the first delay.
Even after that massive update in May, Rockstar didn’t follow up with anything else.
Do you think early 2026 is when they finally start openly talking about GTA VI again?
Or will they just drop trailers and screenshots at random and stay mostly silent?

English

@rockstationonx Not sure about that man. Rockstar has probs atm and I don't see anything GTA VI related anytime soon. So switch it up because it's a long road ahead AGAIN.

I’m noticing a lot of people including myself trying to switch up from GTA 6 content.
It doesn’t surprise me as hype is at an all-time low at the moment.
Lucky for me, this page didn’t start as a GTA page
However…. 😂
You watch just as we all start moving on and trying to forget about it and talk about other games Rockstar Games will likely just drop something haha.
It’s literally something they would do wait till we’re not looking and then boom.

English

@ViceCityGTAVI Don't care at this point haha sorry but the marketing of this game is bad. I will be interested when it's in my hands.
English

@rockstationonx You know when it comes to Rockstar they really could give two fucks haha. I feel when this game does come out (whenever that really is) I think people will have negative feelings right away because of how bad this marketing campaign really is for this game.
English

@TGGonYT I still think they will give us trailer 3 because it's the same as in May 2025 with the last delay. Plus they all want u to think there is nothing so they can do the mic drop with the trailer and walk away. BUT if no trailer haha mate it will be nothing til May 2026 earliest
English

@rockstationonx I think they will drop a trailer tomorrow like they did in May 2025 with a delay on Friday and new trailer on Tuesday. If u look at history around this with every delay they do give a trailer or screenshots. BUT the news of that Japanese state of play tomorrow has me worried
English

@TREVORTRAILER I think trailer three will drop tomorrow because it lines up with what happened in May. Plus Rockstar wants u all to think nothing is happening then mic drop haha BUT that Sony state of play has me worried that maybe there won't be.
English

@GTASixJoker @DaniRep I believe it, same thing happened in May 2025. Delay on Friday and trailer 2 on Tuesday
English

@GameRoll_ Trailer 3 will come Tuesday the 11th. It's the same as the last delay

In all seriousness, the fact that Rockstar didn’t drop even a *single* screenshot alongside the GTA 6 delay is both baffling and aggravating to me.
I feel that it’s completely illogical from both a business standpoint as well as a personal one. I could be wrong, but hear me out.
Rockstar’s approach of making us wait a while for GTA 6 news so when stuff does eventually come it hits harder is VERY effective. However, there comes a point where it’s just too much in my opinion. It feels almost insulting to delay the game by six entire months with just a measly paragraph and nothing else to cushion the blow.
All they’ve achieved with this announcement is disappointment. They’ve not made any attempt to please their fanbase with something whatsoever and I just don’t understand it. What downsides are there to giving us just one screenshot? Surely alienating your customers only damages the goodwill centred around the game?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not upset about the delay itself. Rockstar are perfectionists and I’m not gonna complain about eventually receiving a better product for my money. There’s no question that GTA 6 will be a masterpiece and this delay only signifies that even further.
But still, the way that they’ve gone about this delay just really confuses me. I can’t understand how this is smart from a business POV and I need someone to explain it to me.

@RinoTheBouncer This coming Tuesday just like what happened in may
