Really cool moment tonight postgame after VCU upset UNC. VCU head coach Phil Martelli Jr. made a point to shoutout the student reporters that made the trip. Lots of great stuff this time of year, but this was a really awesome, genuine exchange.

Covering the #Thunder provides invaluable real world experience for @OUNightly students. Michael Thompson & Kevin Daniel went live before the game from the Paycom Center. They then had the opportunity to cover Shai Gilgeous-Alexander make NBA history. Quite the day!

Really glad that Cam Williams & Kevin Daniel got to cover their first #Thunder game last night. They saw the NBA’s reigning MVP hit a buzzer beater that led to an overtime win for the reigning champs. Tough to beat that kid of experience while still working with @OUNightly.
