Vientos needs to learn what Suffolk County looks like and pick up a role with the Ducks.
Not get Major League ABs in an incredibly important year for the Mets.

My expectation is Carson Benge begins the year in Syracuse. Vientos and Baty need consistent everyday at bats to solidify their roles before the Mets can confidently hand regular playing time over to Benge. There’s going to be alot of upset Mets fans but this is 💯 the move! #LGM

Francisco Alvarez (back tightness) is feeling "better" today, per Carlos Mendoza. Seems the Mets have avoided anything significant here. If Alvarez continues to feel good, he'll be back in the lineup tomorrow.

Ronny Mauricio this spring: 36 PA .313 AVG .920 OPS 3/6 BB/K 141 wRC+ The 24-year-old has registered an AvgEV of 91.4, with a 111.2 MaxEV, & 50% Hard-Hit%. A projected bench bat still with the Mets, it'll be interesting to track his 2026 season.
