@StevenHCollins Not only is the paper quite weakly argued, it contains factual errors as well. I was surprised to read that VL pennation angle approached 90 degr at full knee extension, citing Fukunaga et al. (1997). Fig. 2 in that paper shows max angle of 22deg at full ext (right side of graph)
