That’s a fair question—and the right one to ask. But only a remnant will seek understanding, though I wish everyone did. For most of my life, I didn’t take these writings seriously—not until I was brought low by circumstances outside my control. Out of necessity, I began digging and found that they explain reality in a way nothing else does. When the vanities of worldly pursuits were stripped away and I honestly faced death, suffering, and purpose, I realized that without Christ crucified and resurrected, life ultimately collapses into meaninglessness. And the more I learn, the more aware I become of how much I don’t know—a fitting paradox in light of eternity. The Word doesn’t flatter us; it tells the truth about God, what we are, and what hope actually is.
